Pukka Tea

Never thought I would say this, but I prefer tea over coffee. After years of being a coffee lover, I realised how much better tea is for you and how many varieties there are to choose from.
I began drinking green tea years ago after my uncle introduced me to it and haven't left it alone since. I've hunted far and wide for different brands that make green tea and this one has to be one of my favourites.

I first discovered Pukka teas when I was rooting around a health shop with my Mum around 3 years ago. I was instantly drawn in by their beautiful packaging and grabbed a couple of boxes. Ever since, if I spot one in a supermarket I haven't tried, I'll most likely drop a box into my trolley to sample. Something else I love about this brand is they put a small description on the back explaining what that particular tea can do to benefit you. For example, the Elderberry & Echinacea tea is great for colds and when you're feeling generally like poo. I love having a mug of this particular flavour when I'm feeling sorry for myself under a blanket with Netflix on.

Another lovely one for bedtime is the Night Time tea. It smells wonderful due to the lavender and also contains Valerian which has been a natural sleep remedy for centuries. Each teabag is also individually wrapped for freshness and it also makes them easy to grab for on the go if you fancy one later at work.

Of course my favourite has to be the Supreme Matcha Green tea but there are still plenty of different green tea that Pukka have to offer. Its a shame they aren't all available in most supermarkets but I have found Sainsburys and Asda to stock at least 7 different Pukka teas. However the postage cost on the Pukka website isn't too shabby at all and each box of tea costs on average £2.39. They also have available a pick and mix service where you can pick 10 teas you'd like to try before buying a whole box. I know where I'm going as soon as I'm finished here ;) we also very proudly have all of our Pukka teas lined up on top of the fridge. The boxes are just beautiful!

You can find Pukka here.

Thanks for reading!

  1. I've never been much of a tea person, but I do love myself a cup of coffee... I need to find myself a tea that I love! I've heard a lot about matcha tea recently.
