7 Facts About Me Tag

I was recently tagged by the lovely Laura from LittleBlackBootts to do the 7 Facts About Me Tag so I thought I'd give it a whirl!

1. I'm a vegetarian
Kept that one quiet haven't I. I don't tend to speak much about food and animal rights here on my blog because I'll be honest…I hate the idea of people thinking I'm trying to push my ways of life onto them. I love animals and firmly believe there is a fine line between 'animal lover' and 'pet lover' but that is a debate for another time. I have been a veggie since I was 7 years old and you can thank Gordon Ramsey for that after I saw him slaughter a turkey on TV. Nice.

2. I was a university drop out
Yes I was. I was meant to complete my Art & Design foundation course and then transfer on to do the 3 year degree in Graphic Design but totally bailed. The thought of continuing with something I despised so much seemed ridiculous so I finished my foundation course and ran for it. Quite literally. I have never looked back and don't regret it one bit. You can read my full post on my university experience here :)

3. I put off starting a YouTube channel for 5 years
This year I bit the bullet and posted my first video on YouTube. I had wanted to do this for YEARS and never had the balls. I hated my voice, had no confidence and the thought of watching myself back scared the life out of me. Since starting my channel, my confidence has grown so much its unbelievable and I no longer cringe at the sound of my own voice. I have made some new friends online and really look forward to filming new videos. You can find my channel here!

4. I'm married
This one usually shocks people the most. Although I'm nearly 25 years old, I sound like a 13 year old child and am only just reaching a point where I no longer look like one too. I married my best friend in March 2016 after being with him for 2 years, we had the smallest wedding ever, no big dresses, no party, no guests. Just our parents and a lovely meal afterwards to celebrate. It was perfect.

5. I run an Etsy shop
I post about Llama Talks quite a bit on my blog but for those of you who don't know, this is my little online shop where I sell my illustrated gift ware. After dropping out of uni I never thought I'd be able to sell my work and Etsy has allowed me to do so. It makes me so very happy and I love it. I also have a full time job on top of my Etsy shop, blogging and YouTubing. My favourite animals are llamas hence the name ;)

6. I HATE blue biros
They could nearly be classed as a phobia. They get thrown across the room if I see one and I can promise you, you won't find a blue biro in my house. I couldn't even tell you why I hate them so much, they just make my blood boil!

7. I have 10 piercings and 4 tattoos
I got my most recent tattoo this past September and it is of Mew from Pokemon. I also did 5 of my piercings myself with proper needles and equipment I bought from Crazy Factory. I went through a phase of it a couple of years ago and regret nothing haha. Not wise, but if you're insisting on doing your own, do your research and be safe.

I hope you enjoyed reading a little bit more about the person behind my blog and now I'm going to tag a few others to carry it on! If you want to take part in this tag then please follow these rules:

1. Thank the person who nominated you
2. Share the link to their blog
3. Reveal 7 facts about yourself
4. Nominate 10-15 other bloggers

I nominate:

Emmie from Carpe Diem Emmie
Abbey from Abbey Louisa Rose
Tore from A Tiny Mew
Rich from Rich Biscuit
Mark from That Gent Mark

Go, go, go!

Thanks for reading :)

We got married when we were 22, and I think people think I am about 19 now so that always shocks people. In fact especially when I say its coming up to my fouth wedding anniversary :D

  3. I love these kinds of posts, it's always nice to learn more about people! I know what you mean with the veggie stuff too. I tend to keep it pretty quiet unless I know someone doesn't mind, or is veggie too.

Your wedding sounds absolutely lovely too, probably less stressful than a big one, so you can focus on the most important things :) x
