September Favourites

Stranger Things
Yes I know everyone and their Mother are loving this new Netflix series and its not my usual cup of tea but I'm so in love with the characters and the storyline for Stranger Things I can't wait for the new season. I think the kids in particular did an awesome job with their acting and it was great to see Winona Ryder back in action.

My Mew Tattoo
I also got a new Tattoo this month and you can read more about it here but I thought I'd add it into my favourites because its always exciting getting a new tattoo. I grabbed a cancelation slot for this little guy because I thought about it being my birthday present to me but since its not till November…scrap that idea. This is my monthly present to me instead :D

Aurora Fawn - An Etsy Shop
I couldn't not add in my favourite accessory purchase from September and that is my unicorn crown from Aurora Fawn on Etsy. Ahh this little beauty makes me happy just looking at it, when its not on my head its propped up next to my pen pot on my desk looking pretty glistening in the rare rays of sunshine. I love it so much and can't wait to get my mitts on one of the fawn crowns…I'm well and truly addicted to this little shop and wish it all the best for the future!

Pumpkin Spiced Lattes
Yes yes everyone is obsessed with PSL's from Starbucks at this time of year and I have no shame in admitting that I don't think I could go a whole year without at least 10. I find them so lovely and comforting, most likely due to the association from binge drinking them whilst in Disneyland Paris for Halloween a couple of years ago, but they still take me back to the magic and they are such a treat.

Lush Products
Even though this is an overall huge favourite, I was lucky enough to attend the Lush Leicester Christmas Launch and this was my first blogger/YouTuber event so I was very nervous but had the best time. Its rekindled my love for Lush products as I've not been using them as much as I would like due to our lack of bath tub, but I have stocked up ready for the house move!

Watercolour & Acrylic Paints
This month I have found myself getting back into doing a little bit of painting. Mainly backgrounds for my greeting cards and creating new textures, I scan them in and go from there. Its a great way to experiment and I also love to mix things up by layering the watercolour paint with pencils once dry. I love doing this for shading or creating depth if I'm doing a more detailed piece and I've just found myself really enjoying painting again. I've even been dabbling with acrylic pants again and had the urge to paint Maleficent one drizzly afternoon towards the end of the month so here we are. She's not finished yet but I thought it would be cool to show you what I've done so far :)

Thankyou so much for reading!
